It's coming along! I really like the remaining red parts but I'm not sure how much red to leave... any suggestions?
I was so into this that I clean forgot the time and my art class students arrived, me still with brush in hand!

There's something fascinating about an empty chair as a subject. The object is so closely associated to the human figure it almost seems to have a life and personality of its own.
The painting is looking really nice Jilly... can't wait to see the finished piece.
