8 hours of sunshine, summer has really kicked in today.
We settled on a view of Menton's old town, dominated by the tower of the 'Eglise St Michel'
Quite hard to concentrate with all the passers by who want to chat.
think Jane and I are both happy with our day's work.

Antony Bridge from http://pochade-box.blogspot.com/ has been painting in the south of france for the last two weeks and he wants to swap paintings with me, looking forward to owning one of his paintings - smokey heather coloured, malvern hills and skies... good to look at when it gets too hot here in the summer.
It would be fun to have you post an "action scene" here of your set up on the day of...? Did you happen to get one? It's always interesting to see how artist's transpose the scene as well.
